Default New Build - Wheels Question

Hello all, cool forum you have here. I've been entertained for the past hour just reading through everything and looking at everyone's pics. I've never owned a mustang. I've wanted a 5.0 since the 10th grade ('97) when I first saw my cousin's black '92 5.0. So here I am, 14 years later, still inspired and finally going for it. Question: On Ford's website, I put together the GT shown in the pic below. Here's my question: I have never seen anyone with these wheels. Why is that? Are they ugly in person? Is there something wrong with them? Am I just not looking hard enough? Thanks in advance.

I have those wheels. As far as the V6 went those wheels were available on the MCA trim only. I get compliments on them all the time.

Thanks for the response. I took a look at your car, very nice! It helps for me to see these on real cars s as opposed to Ford's site. I think I'm going to go with them.

Tex, did those hockey stripes come with the car or are they aftermarket? They look great!

Is it true Ford will no longer build a 2011 GT? Dealer is telling me he can't do it and I'm trying to figure out if he just wants me to go for the 2012 or if he's legit.

I probably have to agree with the salesman here. I tried to buy a 2011 back in February and was told there was only 6 left in Alberta at that time and that I would have to order a 2012 and expect it by the end of this year.

Most dealerships around here are on there 3rd delivery of 2012 stangs already.

This is of course ford Canada but there still all made at the same factory.

Those rims look really good. Can't wait to see pics. I also see you're from NY. Where from? Welcome to the forums!

Well, I signed the papers tonight on a black GT Coupe. I went to three different dealerships and none were able to build a 2011, so I guess the first sales rep wasn't pulling my chain. I ponied up for the 2012. Can't wait.. going to be the longest two months of my life waiting for this delivery. Would anyone happen to have some good recommendations for body shops in NY (preferably the Westchester area)? I'll probably be looking to get some work done. Audio as well. Thanks in advance.
