i already told you what you should do. but hey get what makes YOU happy. as long as its not a big *** wing. what made you decide to get a shelby now? why dont you just pay less, get a 5.0 with all of the options that you want, and mod it to be faster then a shelby?

they say its faster than the gt500 in motortrend. obviously i cant test it but i can believe that. needless to say all shelbys are godlike but i see too many gt500s. i think the 350 is more of a headturner with more power

i have respect for the new tribute cars, but they are not tributing them in the right way. the original gt350's were not faster then the gt500's. and the new bosses do not look like the old bosses.

dont get me wrong they are all outstanding cars as far as performance goes, but i wish that the people of ford would have tributed them to the cars that they were modeled to resemble.

i agree with you 100% on that actually. especially about the bosses. i dont really think they did a good job on making them alike. but why not get a classic then?

well i guess that is what it all comes down to, but the classics are not massed produced anymore, hard to find, and hard to maintain.

unless of course you have deep wallets

The side stripes seem pretty unpopular.

I'll see if xeno has the patience to chop them up across the hood and meeting, as well as having them stripe smaller and smaller until they meet the hood.

Thanks for the input thus far.

As for why a Shelby, I was going to get a GT but the wife said if I'm going to get something, make it what I really want.

Bigger is better lol

I want a classic someday (likely a 70 fastback done up as a Mach or boss clone and never claimed as real)

I thought about a vanity plate (not going to be upset if I don't get one 5.8 SNAKE or 5.8 SNKE depending on if I can use a period) lol

anyways, I appreciate the input ladies and gentlemen
