Default Floor mat

The floor mat (carpet) on the drivers seat floor had the plastic ring holding the carpet to the floor come apart! Has anybody have this happen to their 13 GT/CS? Im wondering if Ford will fix or replace it!

I have not seen it in person but I wouldnt imagine Ford would not warranty it. Its a brand new car and should have bumper to bumper warranty (which includes the carpet).

Matthew

edit: just re-read what you wrote. Are you talking about the hook in the carpet to keep the floor mats in place or the floor mat itself is coming apart?

The 2013 deosnt have the "hook" type. It has a ring on the mat that goes over a "peg" on the floor.

This is ironic, but i noticed this last week in my car as well. I hadn't decided to take it to ford or if I was going to buy new mats.

I went to a local dealership and showed them the problem. The next thing that they said was that they will call me when my new floor mat arrives at the dealership! You cant beat that!!!

This is an awesome update for Friday, Mayberry40; I’m glad your dealer took care of you!
