If this IS true I would be shocked, and I would be hesitant to beleve it until I saw a dyno sheet.
After driving the 2011 Mustang & being disappointed in the normal driveability (guess I expected more due to the hype) I searched for some dyno sheets. I don"t know how true (claim to be stock) any of these dyno #s are but here"s what I have for the 2010 & 2011 Mustangs GT.
2010 GT
2011 5.0 Manual
2011 5.0 Auto

It's a difference but nothing like 340 rwhp vs 395 rwhp. Also the auto does not have a 1 to 1 gear ratio so that cause the auto to read hp a bit lower than a manual. Even with a 1 to 1 the auto would read lower maybe by 10 HP which isn't much imo. In stock form from what I seen the auto has put out the best track times which imo is what counts most.
All I know is I had a 2010 GT 5 spd for 14 months, and now I have had my 2011 V6 6 spd manual for 2 1/2 weeks and when they make a procharger for this baby it will probably stomp a stock, 5.0. I did not say for a fact I said probably, but the 6 can almost take the 4.6 now, supercharge the 6 and the stock 4.6 won't even come close. Maybe I can go from this stock look to this in time LOL.
Looks like the results are from two different dyno's? Maybe that would account for such a large difference. An automatic transmission wouldn't eat up an extra 45 HP.
