tune for v6 is here
http://www.cnlperformance.com/2010GT.html
Using three back-to-back baseline pulls, our 2010 test vehicle delivered 272, 274 and 274 SAE corrected rear wheel horsepower on a Dynojet Dynamometer.
How many pulls did you make on the dyno per setup?

Remember it's just a question nothing more nothing less. I notice (even in this thread) that guys will compare the 11 v6 to the 10 gt as opposed to the 11v6 to 11 gt. Is there a particular reason for this. As an example why not compare an 11 v6 to an 86gt. New technology will always trump tech from last year (generally) or the past 50 years, thank God.

People are going to compare whatever they want to whatever else they want. It's obvious why owners of the 11 V6 compare it to the 2010 GT and that is because of similar horsepower and similar levels of performance. It's not a big secret. Now what is truly puzzling is why guys who own GT500's are continuously in the V6 section worried about what guys who own a V6 are talking about. You planning on buying one or something?
well as i said before in these threads if you want to realling get best results, dyno in a mine shaft......here in NC 90 miles from coast we can have 99% humidity then next day 8%, the guys that do my dyno do nothing but mustangs and build big bad power machines so for being calibrated, I am confident they are up to par. the day I did the 93 tune was very muggy , overcast, when I had my 87 done was cool crisp, dry air, it all depends on conditions, so for this car I'll take the tunes bama writes and we'll see, going for a dyno in november before dropping in new tunes, then will see after tunes, but the dyno will be at a shop never been to cause they are giving us 2 pulls for $25. here just a sample how these guys roll, they know their stuff and equipt is right on..

I'm giving it at least a year or two more before i even look at new stang. Completely new drivetrain. Look at the 05-06 models. They had so many TSB's. 07 was ok, 08 (what I have now) was nearly flawless.
And as already stated, new tech will usually trump old tech. Hell, even a 2008 Honda Civic Si has nearly as much HP as a 94-96 Stang and will probably beat it too!
So, compare away! I'll just say, I've had more time to enjoy mine!

BTW: We're all talking about the 2011 V6 in this thread. It's 305hp, and I'm speculating that it was artificially lowered in HP like the Camaro V6 so as not to hurt V8 sales.
I would like to thank all for such good response on this thread. Today I ordered HID head and fog lights first. Decided that would be good since I leave for work at 5 in the morning and here in Kansas there are deer out there. However I did tell the dealer aftermarket guy that I am going to install the 3.73 gears too. So when my HID come in and I go to get them put in, I will be ordering my ford racing gears that day. Also will get the tuner ordered too.
If only I could hit the powerball or kansas cash I could have such fun fixing up my car,,i mean cars...LOL
