imo the stang already has a good exhaust , just needs some nice shiny strait though mufflers out back to help it in the high rpms. that extra cash can go toward some headers when they are released ;]

the gains you would see by doing this would be either very similar if not identical.

i found this new trend quite different , the new mustang owners 5.0 mainly are deleting their mufflers completely and just going strait pipe.

here is one of the v6 owners who did it to his, there was another one but id have to search for it on youtube hope it helps.

the car does not exactly purr lol , its a screamer

The one problem us V6'ers have is we will never sound like the V8's I have the 4.0 and because mine didn't come with true duals I went with NTO's with GT mufflers. I would not recommend Pypes mufflers as they will add drone to the interior and not add much sound if any! If you want loud go with slp loudmouths! They are rediculously loud! The video with straight pipes above sounded like crap in my opinion too much whine!

I dont think its a problem we dont sound like a v8. I love the sound of the 3.7. No one ever talks about porsche being 6's but when its a freakn mustang its only compared to the model 10g's more then it, and a camaro. I cant get enough of the sound of a high reving v6. The Z's sound awesome... as to the old M's straight 6's.

Don't get me wrong I love my six and I think it sounds great! What I'm trying to convey is that if the V8 sound is what is your looking for you will never get there nor will I, but we can still sound good for a 6!

Does anyone have any sound clips of this exhaust system yet? I saw that AM has them up now at ~$450. That's pretty reasonable. I really want to hear how they sound before dropping that kind of cash though.
