gt500 take-off muffler on v6
went to dyno day in McKinney, a friend of mine thought a gt500 take-off(stock) exhaust would make a good value for a axle-back exhaust for the new v6.
I know it has the same 2.5" pipes, but was unsure about the angle and hangers... has anyone done this?
do the hangers match up? is it still just a bolt-on replacement?
is the angle of the attachment the same?
btw 248 hp/237 tq on the dyno. under 1000 miles on the odometer still, bone stock.

we don't have 2.5 inch piping stock, this is not a problem, a muffler shop can whip it on with some modifications quick.
i will add that i have heard some v6's with the gt500 mufflers and it was not my cup of tea.
go on youtube and hear some vids.

Actually for firsthand experience modding two different 3.7 2011 cars the stock exhaust is only 2.25" man. The 2011 5.0s have 2.75" mid pipes after the h-pipe. The 2011 gt500s actually have dual 3" exhaust factory, with the 2010 gt500s having 2.75" mid pipes. Hope this helps I would like to hear a set on the 3.7s bet it would sound decent.
