bbk longtube owners
when you look underneath these cars , they are basically really flat , of course for aerodynamics and what not.
my question is do the longtubes hang out the bottom of the undercarrage and how much , can anyone take a pic if they do or are they flush?
im asking because i want to lower the car in the near future with Vogtland Sport Lowering Spring, 1.2 in front and rear.
was gearing up to place the order and i realized , some of the products i want to order may go on sale in june, so i may as well just wait a week more and do further research.

Well I don't own the BBK longtubes but I can tell you that there is a very good video up on Youtube of someone performing the install and the before and after result. I would think that they would be level. Going from what I have watch install wise it seems like there would be a lot more work involved if they hung lower.

Longtubes don't extend much further than the stock headers. About half an inch to an inch, in the case of the BBK longtubes and their flanged x-pipes (catted/offroad).
Reason being that they extend down to there would otherwise be a pair of catalytic converters, that swing diagonally down to mate up with the x-pipe. Hence why BBK, who makes long tubes, also sells catted or off road x-pipes.
A 1.2" drop won't put them at risk. They'll be at far less risk than your suspension control arms, not that the 1.2" drop is going to put them at much. People ride around scraping their body on the ground day to day, you'll be fine. :]
