Default Where should I get a scratch fixed?

Today while parking I brushed another car (left a note for the owner) with my Mustang and made a scratch on it (Mustang). It isn't something major but I think I want to get it fixed. Mine is a 2011 model and looks pretty new, so I don't want even minor blemishes on it. Can you guys suggest what would be a good place for such repairs? Shall I take it to a body shop directly, or shall I contact my insurance? I'm not very inclined to tell my insurance about it as my deductable is high (may be more than the actual cost of repair) and I don't want my premium to go up. Or shall I try to fix it myself (in case that's possible)? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Depends on what you want to do. You can either take it to a body shop and pay out of pocket or go through insurance. Your deductibles are over say 600$? My deductible is 200.00. Most will say not to bring it to the dealer but it depends on your local dealer. My dealerships bodyshop does top of the line work unlike some dealerships. You could try to fix it yourself if you have the experience and the tools.

BTW: Pictures would help out us determining if you can fix it yourself.

If you are near San Diego, I'd recommend El Dorado:
