So hi everyone i got a question i recently change all the exhaust system on my 2011 v6 mustang i put bbk long tube headers, catted x-pipe and roush axle back. I got pulled over by the cop today because it was too loud. My question is: Is there a way to keep my roush axle-back by adding something inside the muffler so the cop cant put a rod in it and say its not legal because he can go through it.

No I doubt it. I hear the Roush axel backs are loud even on a factory exhaust.

 

Stuff some donuts in your mufflers, one wiff and the cops will think it is a police car.
No but seriously i would contact Roush and see if they have a solution. Just tell the cops pulled you over and said your mufflers were too loud. See what they say, you never know? If you dont get any help just ask for Jack

Outside of the noise pollution (I can get behind that sorta pollution!), what sort of increased returns are you seeing from a fully updated exhaust all the way from LT's to the rear? Tuned for it as well?

I have gotten feedback on BBK headers from other owners (not v6 3.7 so far) that say there have been fitment problems -trying to formulate my own thoughts based on someone having done it to a match for my own car..
