Sorry RockStang I gave it my best shot, but I still can't find a bbk shorty header only video... I have found three so far, one with a Borla ATAK catback already installed, and two from a guy with a Dynomax catback and resonators. The before and after on both cars sound very promising, but neither starts with the stock exhaust.

I guess it won't be long before we are flooded with videos now that they are finally arriving on doorsteps though...

I'm curious as to independent testing results. I'm keeping my LT's but may be able to help point people to this direction if the results are good and someone has to keep emissions legal.

Thinking of BBK ceramic Shorty headers myself. Waiting to see if anyone has opinions if it makes a noticeable change in power and how it sounds with axle back exhaust. I have a Bassani exhaust with a bad droning sound. Maybe the headers will deepen the sound a little? Like also to see how hard it is to install yourself.

I just ordered my shorty headers from A.M. today
got home today and saw they were in stock.
I called and ordered right away, before they go out of stock on me again.
oh! do we use the old bolts, or new ones?

Use the original Studs and nuts, and the studs might come out with the nut so remove the studs and put them back in the head before putting the header on, you cannot get them through the holes on some of them if you don't.

When someone installs the BBK shortys with a CAI, stocks cats and X pipe, axle back exhaust (I have Bassani) and a Bama tune, please post your opinions. I'd be interested to hear the sounds and see how many HP it increases, on a dyno especially. (Along with about a few thousand other 2011+ V6 owners I'm sure!)

With all this talk of poor quality control of BBK, does anyone have a suggestion of alternative shorty headers for the 2011+ V6? Definetly want to connect to stock cats, and thinking I would want ceramic coating.

I don't think anyone else makes shorty headers for the 3.7L as of this point. American Racing Headers and Bassani make long-tube headers. It might be worth contacting them to see if they have any shorty headers in the pipeline.

Thanks for the heads up on the studs, Siber Express.
I will try to do this at home.
