LT Header install issues

Default LT Header install issues

so replacing my Exhaust manifolds with LT Headers, I ran into a snag. Apparently you should only have to unbolt the exhaust manifold and then unbolt the cat from the system and and the new LT should bolt up to the remaining exhaust system.

Well, my cats don't bolt in, they are welded from the factory. Is this a special deal because of the FP6? Any one besides perf pkg have similar issue? anyone with perf pkg to a LT install?

So now, I am having to wait until the new H-pipe comes in, so i'll have LT with h-pipe to summit racing chambered (Flowmasters) axlebacks on my 3.7 with 73mm Bored TB, k&n Drop in, and SCT Bama Tune. I think my next purchase is gonna be custom tune from JMS Chip in Mississippi. Anybody else with custom tunes in South Louisiana or South Mississippi?

This is the setup on all of the 3.7s: Manifolds (headers) bolted to the hybrid x/h mid pipe (this includes the cats) bolted to over axle pipes bolted to mufflers.

When you install LT headers, you also need to pick up a mid pipe because the length of the headers is not the same as the stock manifolds, therefore you're not able to run your stock mid pipe.

Besides, it's a good time to ditch the restrictive catalysts anyway.

Well, I picked up the MAC Chrome LT Headers last month while they were clearance for $309. I just placed the order yesterday for the MAC PRO shorty H-pipe. Got an incredible deal on it as well. Can't wait til it comes in so I can let my OneTrickPony breathe. Hoping for some deep rumble and very little if any raspiness.

I know this thread is kinda old, but how did the header install go and How does it sound now
