Default 95 3.8L overheating problems

Today my car started overheating and my coolant is full I noticed my cooling fan wasent turning on so I checked to see if there was power going to it and there was. So I let me my car run on idle for a bit and my fan turned on but didnt stay on not even for a minute. I then went and bought a new cooling fan thinking that was the problem and it wasent.. So now Im at a loss of what it could be. Please some one tell me.. Thanks

Check your Thermostat, also you posted in the 3.7 forum so probably the reason no one answered.
There are a bunch of people in the correct forum that can answer and no a lot more about the 3.8 than I do here https://mustangforums.com/forum/v6-1...04-mustangs-4/
