Default clutch

can i run a 5.0 bell housing and clutch on a 74 351 block? the bell housing i have know fits but it has the push type clutch fork and i want to stick to the cable in my 98 mustang the. fly wheel i have takes an 11" clutch. the next part of my question is will that bell housing have a standard 4 bolt mounting for the transmission, i plan on running a ford 4 speed (which i have already bought and don't want to have to buy another)

After 1965, all 302's and 351's have share bellhousing bolt patterns which are 6-bolt. 221's and 289's will very from 4-bolt to 6-bolt. I have a T5 out of an '86GT bolted to my '69 351W.

Good Luck,
Indy

I'm pretty sure you have to run with the 6-bolt bellhousing to run that 11" clutch for your flywheel.
