Default 351

I'm thinking about building a 351, I am trying to find a old used motor with low miles and just rebuild it and work around it, but i was wonderin whats the major difference between the 351 cleveland and the 351 windsor? or is there a difference and can some1 tell me what kind of HP i can expect just from a stock 351? Thanks

"stock" 351W made about 275hp at the crank, one with good heads and cam will make more like 400hp.

351W and 351C are nite and day. 351C is more for high revving engines, forget about them.

cleveland is not a big block by any means. There are way too many differences, the windsor is pefect for a first time build

I thought with their huge intake runners and such you had to get em spinning really high to get enough
air thru them to start making serious power?

ya by any means, the C and 385 motors use a chevy rocker arm body. The 351 is not even remotely considered a big block
