Default cylinder head question

alright so i am pretty much down to getting some cylinder heads. i have the stock 78 heads but after reading a few posts in this forum, i decided to go all out and no shortcuts. I have a typhoon 351w mustang intake manifold, cam specs are lift=472int/496exh and duration is 214int/224exh don't know the lobe seperation(not an expert), flat top speed pro pistons. Is this gonna be a good combination cam for the intake i have? I plan on going with 30# injectors. What cylinder heads would match up good with the intake/ cam that i have running 30#injectors? any suggestions appreciated.p.s. i was leaning towards afr165s (will be my daily driver, want to keep it streetable)

Default RE: cylinder head question

need AFR 185's to handle the flow a 351 needs.

you need different cam too, that one is set-up for 302, it's not the lift, but the durration
that is a problem.

need bigger durration to open up valves sooner to fill extra cubes.

check out Ford Racing's A351 cam or call www.camshaftinnovations.com and have them make you one.

Be VERY careful here, you need to match your heads, cam and valve springs to make
everything run right and put out the kinda power it should.

Highly!!!! recommend just calling CamShaftInnovations and having them put
together a complete head/cam/valve spring package for you.
They can make sure it is VERY streetable with a nice power band ........ its all in the cam.........
