tunnel ram?

RE: tunnel ram?
There is an advantage if you have the motor to utilize it. The issue is that most "low rise" intakes work well enough to provide what most engines need. A prot matched Victor Sr. intake will make amazing numbers without having to punch a hole in your hood

They are normally used when massive amounts of fuel is used, the lare runners lend the manifold to a huge cooling effect on the incoming fuel/air. Can you decide to bolt one up and run it? Yes, right cam and head set-up and you can run it. But like I said, do you really need one for you application is basically up to you. Unless you are doing it for looks you will generally see them on large horsepower cars that need lots of fuel right now, then get sent back to the pits for rest
