Okso i need to know how to get the most hp i can get out of my 351m w/o getting a new block.It's bored 0.030 over which gives me about 335 or so horses but it needs more.Please help anybody.

351m is not a good block, but if you have it use it i guess. I am not sure what kind of hp they will handle, prob. not as much as my 351w. Just google it.

you must have a 400 crank and the piston.the 351m ans 400 share the same connecting rod.install a timing chain straight up.look for this site : down & dirty by john newman.the 400M ford:468 Lb-Ft, 380 HP for Less Than $2,000

 

wath kind of cam you get? do you have the spec card?
