Default Need some extra tall valve covers for my Windsor

Stroked out my 351w to a 408 and put a prettybigsolid roller cam in it with .644 .643 lift with stud girdles on it. Where can I find myself a nice set of extra tall valve covers to fit over these things. Bought 4 1/2" aluminum edelbrock ones and I still need almost another inch. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance guys
Bill

Reading around I am curious now what kind of power I am going to be making. So here are the specs, throw in your two cents about the build plan or anything you would have done differently. This car is going to be a street/strip comming out rarely onto the street for nomore thenthecar show runs or blasting around for an afternoon.

I woould say that is a well built motor personally....Very well built, great choice in heads that although could be a little bigger to run solid lift with that carb, are still great heads. My guess (only a guess) puts you a little over 525-550fwhp, a little less than 475rwhp depending on your tranny. Just a guess though. Got to Bennett Racing for the valve covers, as I am pretty sure they offer a huge sheetmetal valve cover for Windsor strokers.

Great build sheet

Or, check at tony branada, they make a spacer which is cool if you have a set of covers you really want to use.
I had a set of aluminum sheet covers, wouldn;t clear roller rockers
the braanda spacers worked great
I think Shelby came up with the idea in the 60;s when he had same problem clearing rollers

I run motorsport 3 inch talls and I have a windsor also with a stud girdle also and have no problem plus my lift is .730 plus.If these dont fit then you have your valve train assembly problemor possible to long of P/R's.Ill post some pics for you.
