408w which intake

408w which intake
Hi, I'm building a 408w engine with the following:
408w forged short block 10.1:1 comp.w/ main girdle
60cc Victor Jr. heads
Canton 7qt pan
Billet Steel Flywheel
Fluid Dampner
42lb injectors
80mm MAF
TweEcer R/T
BBK longtubes w/ 2.75" exhaust H-Pipe w/ flowmaster 2's
Haven't decided on the cam yet, but will most likely be a custom grind
1.6:1 roller rockers
Pretty much got it all except the cam and intake.
Anyway as you can tell I'm keeping the car injected which pretty much limits my intake choice to two. Either the victor jr. or trickflow's. What i'm trying to accomplish with the motor is roughly 500hp at around 5500rpm. Trickflow states their intake is good for 1500-6500rpm, where-as edelbrock says 4000-7000 rpm. So here's where the question comes in. I am an edelbrock fan, I know where it's made, and know it's made by somebody who can speak my language. So I would love to buy the edelbrock intake, but that range that it wants to run is not the one I do.
Would the longer stroke of my 408 compensate for the victor jr.'s hi-revving needs? Or would I be better off going with trickflows? Anybody have any experience with the victor jr.?
Any help would be great, thanks guys
