Default RE: 408w setup

Well I would start with a good stroker kit. Probe, Eagle... The list goes on. Forged is the only way to go. Look for about 10-11:1, and use a 205cc head. I have seen a 408w with a 185 FAR and still pumped out over 550hp!!!!! So A 205cc head is PLENTY! but Use quality bearings, and rings. if not building it yourself Like I am, Look into the top quality builders in te area. I would look into a super Vic intake, for either Carb or EFI! For cam, CUSTOM!!!!! It does and always pump out the power!!!! Roller, weither it be hydraulic or mechanical. Flat tappet only if Your budget doesn't allow Roller setup. Look into a good main girdle, then your off to the races. After you top it all with your 850+cfm carb or a good setup of 36lbs injectors!!!

Have fun and DO IT RIGHT!

Nik!
