Default Chugging carburetor

Hey guys:
I am new to the world of carburetors. After I turn off the key the engine seems to chug. Sometimes even lasting 15-30 seconds. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Tman

sounds like deiseling, check your timing, idle speed, and idle mixture. if all else fails shut the car off in gear ( if automatic)this should prevent the chugging, then shift into park.
