It would be my last day on earth if i could see a 7's street car run a 7 sec pass on the street even though thats impossible to clock. There just isnt enough traction on a regular street

it wouldn't take much to put a 46o in the 7's.... IN THE 1/8TH MILE.. dude..... wishfull thinking. the fastest drag radial mustang is in the low 8's. your never going to hit 7s in your life! u need like 2000 hp to do that. good luck. sponsers would help!!

The Navy retired the F14 Tomcat a couple years back. Maybe you can pick up a used after-burning turbine engine, then bolt it on the roof! Voilla, your 7 sec "street car"!
Oh wait....they don't sell JP-8 at the local gas station. So much for that idea.

What's the fastest ET you've EVER run in ANY car? My guess is you've not even broke into the 12's yet. If you had ever seen 11's or 10's especially, you would know what it takes to get there and you'd have more respect for a daily driven steet car that can turn those kind of numbers. Then i don't think you'd be asking this question. There is a line between street car and race car. A 7 second car is on the race car side of that line, period! Do you think Tim Lynch takes his mustang to drop the kids off at school or to beat up on little scions and tiburons!
