the only one iknow of is the summit block(im sure theirs others). but its 5800.00. why a 460? i wanted to go the 460 route also until i figured out that it was 200 lbs more then a 351w. and youd have to hook up a serious tranny to hold that torque also . like a c6 wich is alot heavier then a c4. do you already have the 460? just the kit to do the swap is like 1000.00.

is this going to be a street car? if not ford racing sells their 460 prostock block. Its a quarter mile block ( no cooling passages into the block at all) so its good for about a run down the strip and then cool down for any hour plus but u will ever break that ****. if its a street car look at ford racing they also have a 460 blocks with 4 bolt mains. I don't think dart or world makes 460's but maybe call kuntz engines they can build u one

The motorsports block i what you will need to run those numbers. Last time I checked they were on back order. A guy on ebay has been selling them cheap lately. I think Ford may have stopped offering them. There are some more exotic blocks offered but, they are through rdi and usually start at $5k plus. Don't put a C6 behind it. Running in the 7's it won't live. It will also be way to violent on the launch. Your auto trans options are pretty much limited to a glide. You can go manual but, the clutch and tranny will cost as much as the motor. And for everyones info I am not talking a tremec. Liberty.. The RDI blocks offer different deck heights for different applications. They used to be offered through Ford Racing but, only a few were shown. They sure are pretty though!
