351 Mustang

1974 351W with 302 crank and rods???

depends on your block but an easy way to make one is stock length 351 w rods, 306 pistons and a 200 dollar eagle 3.850 stroke crank....or buy a kit for 800 for a cheap kit...

I dont have a machinist. If I buy the $800 rotating assembly, will the different stroke on the 3.850 crank equal 393ci? The block is a standard bore 351w.

u need to get a hold of woody who owns fordstrokers and chat with him and send him your block and he will do his magic if u dont have a machinist,,,or find a machinist as i talked to him a month ago and he said he was an honest 2 months out...up to you.

I'm just trying to find out some very basic information. It shouldnt be something I need a machinist for.

DOES THE 351W BLOCK NEED TO BE BORED TO MAKE A 393?

Or does the different crank stroke change the ci's?

well if u look at woodys site its only offered in 3o , 4o and 60 over...so thats as much as i can tell u , call him..

yes, 4.030 bore, 3.85 crank, 1.600 piston, 5.956 rod = 393 inches
