will i be ok with an e303 cam and 1.6 rockers in a stock 351 without notching pistons

depends on what year 351 block?


and one way to be sure get some clay/playdough and check piston to valve clearance..then YOU will know..

If unsure, check it. Pull off a I and E spring and put on a checker spring and turn it over and press on the valve and see how much clearance you have. You should have about .120 I and .80 E to be safe.

Assuming your 351 is a roller? If not that cam won't work for you, you'd need one for flat tappet lifters

Also I wouldn't put that cam in your engine... DO NOT cheap out on the cam, the cam is the heart of the engine, changes all characteristics of it. Get a custom grind, they're only about $250
