Different 351s?
Is there a site that has, or does someone have a list of the casting numbers/years of the different 351 W blocks and their differences? I am totaly unfamilear with Ford blocks.

69-70 were a 9.48" deck height
71-up were 9.5"
69-70 were the strongest with the highest nickel content
71-74 are a very strong block, stronger than 75-up
75-93 bare bones FT blocks... not much stronger than a 302
94-up same block material as 75-93, but Roller blocks

The 69-70 blocks are 9.48 deck height. 9.2 deck height windsor was never a production block.

Ok thanks.
This is the correct casting ID, yes?
The breakdown of casting number C8OE-9430-D is easy using the charts below:
C = Decade of 1960
8 = Year of the decade (8th year of 1960), 1968
O = Fairlane Car line / Manufacture code
E = Engine engineering department
9430 = Basic number for an exhaust manifold
N = Design change
What are the general power limits of the 69-70 / 71-74 ?
