Default 351 427 STROKER HELP

OK SO I RECENTLY ORDER A BOSS 351 9.5 ENGINE AND WONT TO DO A 427 .040 OVER AND 4.170 STROKE(LONG STROKE). MY ISSUE IS THAT I WONT TO RUN THE ENGINE AT 7000-7500 RPM WITH MY TURBO SET UP NEED TO KNOW IF THAT WOULD BE SAFE FOR MY SET UP. MY PISTON TO ROD RATIO WOULD BE 1.49.

first off turn the caps lock off and second for a high reving engine which yours is on the border you want a large bore short stroke. That is what the nascar boys do with all of their motors.

4.165 bore X 3.85 stroke.

.040" is pointless on a block that was designed to go at least 4.125"...

Why do want to spin the engine that hard with the CID and a turbo it is just about point less. unless you are running some outlaw class. What are you doing with this combo?

OK WELL, I really hope you have a very DEEEEEEEP pocket to start with. and with the questions that you are asking and on these forums I think you would really be way ahead of the game if you just called up Kuntz or Bennet racing and talk with them.. no reason to spend 40,000++++ on a engine that don't lay down the power it should... or call Job at Turbo people he could get you gone in the right direction some of the fastest turbo cars in the country come from there.. What size turbo you running and do you have a chassis for all of this yet??

ok i will give them a call. my current chassis is all maximum motorsports. camber plates, kmember kit, lower control arms in rear, sway bar kit, and xl sub frame connector. strange adjustable shocks, 10 point chrome moly cage, and reinforce torque boxs. dont have the turbo yet but is looking at turbonetics 106mm super thumper.

have you had a chance to read the super street outlaw rules...if im not mistaken you can only run a 91mm turbo..max....not many people use maximum motorsports when building a car like that..MOST would build a car with TEAM Z...or wolf or aje...... just my .02
