Default Windsor SR heads

so I am looking to get the bare heads from summit in the future, where can i get the valves? would these ford valves work or what height valve do I need? they are 5.140"

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FMS-M-6507-A351/

also, what kind of compression can I expect with a stock bottom end? I have used the calculators and got 10.5:1... it seems a little high, considering the heads have the same combustion chamber volume as stock...

I was planning on getting these valves, but I noticed that there were different size valves, like stem height. For example, trick flow valves have a 4.960 stem height, scorpion performance valves have a 5.260 stem height...

for those of you who have windsor sr heads, what length stem do your valves have?

does it really make a difference??

Yes, the valve stem length makes a difference. Call Dart see what they recommend. They probably are running a Stock length Chevy valve or maybe a +.100 so you can run a taller spring for more pressure and or no coil bind.
