Hi guys i just finished installing my 351w from a 96 ford 150 into my 1988 stang. My question is my ecu is a9l. Will that be ok. I'm also using a c4 trans. Would i benefit from using a ecu from an auto 5.0?

 

the a9l will be fine . no you would not benefit with the auto EEC. However you would benefit with some kind of tuner Motes or Megasquirt or one of the many other especially when you put that turbo you have plans for on
