I have a 91 mustang with a 393w swap with a C4 tranny. I have BBK shorty headers "part number 15110" 1-5/8" tubes with a 2.5" collector. I would like to buy a 3" exhaust system from flow master "part number 17396"

My question is will the 3" flow master system bolt up to my 2.5" header?

You went with shorties on a 393???? Contact flowmaster and ask them.

 

What heads did you use?

I myself would have actually went long tubes for once!

depending on head exaust port you might be ok running that small primary! but i`d think 3in exaust with those headers would be a dim move! that would be quite the choke.

but would help alot to know the heads and ports as cast or ported?
