I can concur with this statement, I still like there products! It was a great disappointment when i flipped over my lower vic efi for my sbf, and it was cast for a stock 302 head too lots of hours since at the time i didnt have any carbide bits to gut it with!

They do that where you can match it to your specific needs as far as runners, but the other problems you have i didnt have.

Everyone passed along less than perfect finishes sometimes, is this your first one?

I have had 1 to about 40 bad to good products they have produced.

All the carb intakes come ready for business, that i have ordered they cast efi for stock applications, lord knows why you need something suited for 4000,8000rpm on a stock head but hey what do i know.

i have used the torker and performer intakes on previous carb cars 302 based and they were fine...this is my first 351 based build. i have reordered another one and hope this one is better...i run cnc machines and will have to fix the next one if it is bad..i just figured with the edelbrock name and it being USA made i would'nt have those kind of issues.it will be in dec.14 so i will post an update on the next one.

new intake came in...very good quality this time...i ended up emailing a clayton west from edelbrock and after multiple responses i wonder if he looked into the problem..and double cheked this manifold.the whole surface area was machined for the screws not just counterbored.looks great.
