Default 351W buildup

I have a 91 notchback lx. it was a 2.3 but will be a 5.8L. the donar is out of a 89 f150. i was told it is the better 5.8l due to the truck rods and being the hevy duty 5.8l. i am going to go efi. the cam i have is a 112 c/l w 280/290 442/472 will this cam work? also how do i beef it up and pull at least 350 hp out of it on a budget?

to get 350 hp you will to upgrade the heads and intake, at least. do u know what the compression is? i doubt that cam will be big enough to make the 350 you want. i suggest getting the trick flow top end kit.

If you want to get a good idea of what you will need take a liook at Ford Racings catalog. They list the specs on the crate motors and all the internals. Your block is not a roller compatible so the Trick flow cam won't work unless you use the tie-bar roller lifters. Ford Racing actually has a set that is reasonable. Honestly if you plan on efi on a budget you will have to shop around and buy some used parts but, it is easy to do if you go that route. The TFS or edelbrock kit will bring the numbers you want.

x the 89 block sister sold truck and did not tell me so i have a 80k 86 351w out of a e350 runs strong and burns the tires will probably do a cam change and new lifters cam tchain and intake will probably get 300hp. i am looking to get more torque than hp anyway.
