I'd go with 3.73's as It's about 500pm higher than 3.55's and 4.10's are higher still, I know that in My last Mustang I had to get a small gear to correct the speedometer and one for 4.10's wasn't available.
funny, they dont even make 3.55s for the 7.5

are you auto or 5 speed, if your a 5 speed, your 5th gear ratio is .72, there really is no reason for you to go less then 4.10s, you will loose 3 mpg on the highway if that if you keep your foot off the floor board, as for the autos, i dont have one, but i would never go less then 4.10s on something with an OD ratio taller then .80, and an autos is .75

also, t-lok is garbage if you plan on any big mods, i would go with a detroit true trac

I had an AOD in My '87 and a 7.5" rear axle from an SVO Mustang, I don't know all the ratios, Just a few like the 3.73 and the 4.10, If You bought the gearing elsewhere I think 3.55 was available, Just not from Ford in a 7.5".

7.5 is 3.45s not 3.55s
Well It was in MM&FF a few years back around 1997-1998, That's all I know as I ordered a 3.73 instead as I was skeptical too, As It could have been a misprint, Although they swore that they had aftermarket gears in 3.55, But I went and bought 3.73 gears instead.
