Gt exhaust fit V6??

RE: Gt exhaust fit V6??
I did it the cheap way
bought a pair of GT take-offs on e-bay ($70 w/shipping) and had the Y cut out and a driver's side pipe fab'd, $120 and mounted. Then an H-Pipe $35. The mufflers are straight bolt-on. Only problem was OE pipe was 2.5" and my fab place could only bend up to 2.25". So the pipes are different sizes, but nothing anyone will ever notice. the sound is better: has a little rumble at idle and louder under load. So I'm pleased, and glad I didn't do the after-market kits for bigger $

Everything should fit espacually if you get shory headers. JBA has shorty headers that are direct replacment for the factory manifolds. I have them and they went right on. i also have a true dual but I don't know if the GT exhaust kit will fit the same. Mine was kind of custom w/ H-pipe.

so i currency installing a stock 95 mustang gt h pipe to my 2003 mustang v6. and i ran into this issue where the flange that connects to the headers is different than the one on my y pipe. ima need to get it refabricated for it fo fit. i’m thinking if just cutting off up to where the 02 sensors are and swapping the ends. this is in the passenger side and driver side.
