Default Tuner???

Which company should I get it through. I just can't make up my mind. I have an automatic and just want to try to find the best tune for my 05 4.0. I don't care about the price and I will be getting the intake with it. I just ordered a MRT exhaust so I would like a setup to go good with that

Automatic and you dont care about how much? Well then i would say Alternative Auto. Scrming has alot of high things to say about them because he's gotta alot of his work done there. I personally ordered through Evolution which is also i good reviewed company. But it seems that A.A. has the best reviews for tuning Automatics. Incase you care about the $ for both its $650 for an SCTII And C&L from Alternative Auto. $565 for SCTII And C&L Thru Evolution and they also offer the JLT Intake combo for $525 which is what i ordered. Fred from Evol. told me the JLT got 3hp more so im trying that otherwise im going to buy the C&L if i dont like it.

is there really that much of a difference by getting the intake with the tuner. What if I just got the tuner by itself?

The stock airbox is really not that bad until about 4,000 RPM.. with a new intake you'll notice the car pulls harder above 4000... also an intake really seems to help make the throttle more responsive... to me it was worth the extra $250...
