Default help quick question please!

hey guys i recently got flowmaster AT true duals, and they sound great imo, but, 2 times now, i randomly get what seems to be some type of rattling coming which(i aint no car mechanic) appears to me to be coming from the left muffler. now, im insanely worried, should i be? or is it a simple loose nut or something? common problem with anyone else?

My guess is your pipe hitting something, usually the culprit is the spare tire well. I wouldn't be worried, but I would get under the car after it cools off and shake the pipe, find it, and tell your installer to fix it.

yeah see what it is and go get it fixed by the installer. When that happened to me the muffler was actually breaking the hanger, so i took it back and they fixed it for free.

try tightenng all the bolts you see holding hte hangars on your frame.. it could be a loose washer... myself and a handful of others have had that prblem

dont need to be a mechanic to grab a wrench and spend 5 min giving her a go through

hey guys um just an update, i took it to the installer, we checked under the car, drove it around till it made the noise(it took for fn ever), it may be a mixture of 2 things, the one thing we fixed(the left pipe was a lil too close to the spare tire well, like most of you guys assumed), the other may be that the gt bumper i got from diversified marketing has a loose middle latch underneath, which shouldnt be hard at all to fix. I havent noticed the sound since we moved the pipe a tad, sounds even better IMO. listen if any of you guys are in the western philadelphia suburbs region, PM so i can give you the name of my installer. Real great guys, and they take pride in their work, thanks guys!

this is gonna seem like a real dumb question, but itll ease my worries. ok so i got my gt rear bumper on, and one of the underneath screws that holds the latch for the bumper is a size too small, so of course im driving and it fell off. i was just wondering what exactly that piece is called so i can go to pepboys or something and get a new one, just to make sure the vibratin noise doesnt happen again
