well ****, if you really wanted to, you could pop that quad cam navigator engine into your stang with a 9" rear too.. I'm just saying, in general, it's cheaper to run FI... i think a stroke and bore with an s/c would be pretty sweet, but as for high compression, weren't they having problems with blowing headgaskets because of our lovely "swiss cheese" design?
well yes and no. "popping in" any engine is going to cost far more than building up your own to whatever power output you want from that engine. f/i would be cheaper in the long run, but what i like about n/a is - you don't have to do it all at once. with a blower, you can go non intercooled i guess than go intercooled later and up the boost every so often, but you still have to spend over 4 grand at one time which i HATE. I like the idea of going cams for around 500, then heads, etc. and working my way up to possibly a stroker or something. you will definately spend more overall, but it will seem like alot less money because you won't be spending it all at once and you (at lesat for me) wont be broke for a month after you buy the blower. Plus once again i just think n/a has a presence. yea a blown or turbo stang is really tight and you can own stock gt' owners, but come on...how tight would it be to run with stock gt's ALL MOTOR?!
