Just make sure the TB is tight....Not gorilla tight, Just tight. When the bolts is snug, another 1/4 turn should be fine

Well ill shoot my update to you guys on this thread cause its more popular. I drove for 1 hour nonstop in 65 degree weather, popped the hood and the TB was just slightly warm compared to it being steaming hot. Another time i was driving around my town pretty agressively for about 20min and the TB was still cold to the touch. I feel like the car responds smoother when accelerating overall. If you do this mod just leave the tubes on the TB open, and do not plug them. When the coolant box on the TB heats up it will create convection inside and its good to let the air vent out, the way i see it...you may think otherwise. Later.
merlin-lol im pretty sure you know i mean tightening the bolts with a torque wrench[&:]
nick-that's good to know.
The thing is I now live right outside of NYC and winter is coming fast. I really hope that my TB doesn't freeze....i don't even get why they're even worried about that....a frozen throttle body...yea if you're living in alaska i'd think maybe. But in the middle of winter at night it does get pretty cold but the TB couldn't freeze right?

If the TB is going to freeze at night then it will no matter what. When the engine is off the cold coolant will do nothing to prevent the TB from gettin really cold. When the engine is on the TB will be ok no matter what also because it will stay warm. What im saying is that start up temp will be the same if the coolant is connected or not. Id like to know the true purpose of the way its designed. And i heard that it only works on 05 stangs...what changed in 06 about it?
