Just put on a Flowmaster American Thunder System Muffler on Friday. I like the sound and can feel a boost in power. I have been debating between a duals and single. I am very pleased with choice I made.

Another vote for the single. Turns just as as many heads, sounds good. 98% efficiency gain versus duals. Half the cost. No bumpers to buy/cut. and when it goes south you only have to buy 1 to replace it. and besides....They are V6's!! make it sound like a scary good V6! those who try to make their cars look and sound like a v8, shoulda got a GT. I have had lots of folks and informed mustang owners tell me mine sounds as good or better only different than a stock GT right next to it doing a "sound off"

Go with cat back true duals! They sound better than any single exhaust system any day and they look better too!
Adding a GT bumper cover is optional as you can cut in a new opening on the drivers side of the cover.
The purpose of adding true duals and a GT bumper cover is not nor has ever been to try to look like a GT. The GT and V6 dual exhaust stangs are clearly different todiscerning observers.Unaware observers might think it's a GTbut who cares? They wouldn't know the difference if it was a single exhaust!
The duals are added for looks and maximum top end power gains.
For me, a big loud exhaust pipe or muffler on a single looks and sounds ricey! That's not what our Mustangs stand for.Stangs are rice eaters, not rice makers ;-).
Just my 2 cents.
What ever you decide on, enjoy it and never mind what anyone else thinks.
Really, it's all good!

I agree with what Wolfey says!

Duals are the only way to go!

Is this a pony car or a rice rocket?

1 pipe looks lop-sided, 1 pipe out the middle looks f'in weird.

Duals, DEFINITELY DUALS!

You'll thank us later.

+1 on duals. I never felt right driving my stang with only one little dinky tip sticking out. Having duals are soo much better, and a gt bumper helps complete the look.
