Better traction: T-LOC (stock one-leg axle sucks)
Better acceleration: 3.73 gears (if you do lots of highway driving)
Better acceleration:4.10 gears (if you do lots of city driving)
Best acceleration:gears AND T-LOC

You are no going to lose any performance with any combination of these mods. But will work harder on the highway with either set of gears.

I added to T-LOC and kept the stock 3.31 gears because I do 90% highway driving and 2 MPG for me adds up to HUNDREDS of bucks a year (1 year old pony 43,000 miles).

Ripping a 150ft burnout looks cool on the street but sucks at the track or trying to just get into the flow of traffic in the rain!

T-LOC is excellent choice, but you can add a gear swap with no extra charge at the shop (the gears come out when you put in the T-LOC anyway).

the reason one is best for city and one is best for highway is cause the older folks are stuck back in the 70s with pushrod motors and a 1:1 final drive, on a SOHC 4.0 with a .75/.68 final drive there arent any problems with them on the highway unless you drive on the autobahn everyday

4.10s NA/sprayed/centris as for the roots and turbo guys, cant help ya sorry

I think price is like $400 for parts then probaly 200-300 for install. like others said if you do one, I would do the other as well because labor price should be the same either way.
