Default 70mm Throttle Body?

Do they dyno or give any gains? If so, do you need a dual exhaust or CAI for them to make noticable gains, or wait for a cam, heads, and performanceintake manifold for them to?

Thax

Still pending results on this one, though I hear they are hard to tune for.

The stock engine (or near stock) doesn't need the additional air. It will slow air velocity down and actually may hurt performance. Plus they are a pain in the ... to get tuned right.

I hear people say they rob performance but I don't see how that could be possible. larger Tb=More air entering engine right? more air=more HP right? So how is that possible, they must have gains and I just want to see how much gains for $270. Anyone with dyno'd gains?

Thanx guys

Not always true. If you put in more air and the car can't adjust the fuel delivery then it will actually rob power because the air/fuel mixture will be off and that will make the engine less efficient. .

the stock tb will hold up to 450hp for the gt so im gonna guess its gonna be somewhere near there for the v6 probably around 350 to 400hp
