Ok so my mx sponsor is a car dealership. The manager took me to the auction and i picked up an 05 mustang, 4.0, manual, at one hell of a price. Anyways i want to know what kind of exhaust, and intake seem to be the most popular. On the exhaust im looking more for a good deep throaty sound, then a performance orientated one. I realize i'll never get that good v8 sound. Ive been a fan of K&N intakes on my trucks, are they any good with the mustang? if not what is?
and a chip, are they worth it or not? i got a superchip for my truck. for the most part I'd say it wasnt worth the price. Whats the best one for the mustang?

Okay for Intake and tuner I would go with the C&L intake with SCT XCAL II tuner. You can actually get the package deal from these guys.

For exhaust I picked up a gt take off bumper and had it repainted since it was not perfect. Then I ordered up dual exhaust w/ h pipe from JBA. Now the sound is pretty good IMO... But I think there may be setups that will sound a little better. Wait for some more opionions. And if you want more sound from the exhaust do the JBA or MAC headers. Depending on what state you live in, Long tubes w/ out cats might be sick.
