4.10 question

Not trying to call you out, but can you substantiate that claim? I've never heard that before. Ford doesn't offer 3.55's in 7.5", so what you are saying is that in some cases Ford installed 8.8" rears with 3.55's. If production was in a pinch, why wouldn't they install a 8.8" with 3.31's - then they wouldn't have to recalibrate the speedo.
Until I see something official, I will remain suspicious.

Some V6s came with 3.55 geares from the factory. Chech the label
on your rear end to see just what YOU have. Could be 3.31s or 3.55s.
Even if the window sticker says 3.31s they could still be 3.55s. The
factory ran out of 3.31s and put 3.55s in some for awhile. The tag tells
the truth. The tag.

It could have been the 8.8 rear end. I'll try and search it

tungstengray you wont be dissaponted with the 4.10s and tlok, there amazing, i love them sooo much, i just got a tuner so it was a little more go then just gears and tlok but its alot of fun, and i have an auto!
Sam, go with the 4.10s & T-Lok, they're the best install I've done on my car. Combine these options with a chip tune, and you're smokin'. Jack
