Hey everyone I'm new to the forums. I own a 08 v6 and just ordered a C&L CAI and XCal3 (87t, 93t, 93p) from bamachips. I was wondering if you need to run the 87 octane thats currently in the tank till its bone dry and then fill up with 93 before installing the 93 tune?

YES! Run the tank down as low as possible. Fill with premium(91-93) then install tune. NEVER run a premium tune on 87.

I was wondering the same. what I came up with is run it as low as possible and then fill up with 93 and use abot 1/8 of a tank that way you get all the extra 87 out
