from what i understand, it is warranted if ford does the install themselves. if an outside shop does the work, dont tell ford you have changed the gears if your reason for taking it in has nothing to do with it. the shop that does the install should have their own warranty for workmanship.

what are your plans for the car?....4.10 great for acceleration(auto) 3.73 for manual, t-lok will improve traction, or lack ther of.....you will also need a tuner to change gear ratio in the computer....but any drivetrain mod is going to net some type of gains in 0-60 times and also high end power...no to sure about stock 0-60 times....

i would start out with intake/tuner combo and exhaust...see how you feel about that then go for the gears and t-lok....(just my opinion)

also is your car auto or manual?

any tuner/cai combo will impress you with throttle response, it is instant, no more delay when you floor it.....and improved shifting

i have an auto with 3.73s and it was a VERY nice improvement. VERY pleased indeed. 4.10s should be hella fun but i had no need for any higher gearing since my stang is just a street car for occasional cruising and occasional stomping [8D].

zimba hows it feel.....i can't wait to get my stang back from the shop
i will have to try really hard to keep my foot out of it.....i like smoking the tires....lol
Loving it. It wasnt a huge difference but you can tell its different, just a little quicker and lot more grip. I asked about a break in the guy said don't worry about it. So I did a burnout in mygarage to make sure both tires left marks, and they did was awesome. As for warranty it won't void it just won't cover gears since they were changed. Next mod for me will be lowering springs/shocks and then the x-charger. X-charger will be next year probably after taxes springs and shocks are right around the corner.

Sorry I didn't answer your questions right away I have been working too much. 350 is a good price for install. Ford wanted 695 to do my install. I managed to talk them down to 475 and then they charged me 50 bucks for gear oil so all together I paid 550 with tax for my install. Soif you guys can get it cheaper than me you got yourself a deal.
