Default Safety Loop...?

do you guys think i should get a safety loop installed along with the alum DS? i plan on purchasing a DS from my local shop in about 2 weeks but wondered if i should also have them throw on the loop. is it necessary for street use with minimal visits to the track? thanks.

A DS safety loop is not required, but it is an added safety feature. If you are installing an aluminum DS, then the DS loop is worth it IMO.

The one I put into my old 2006 PP coupe was sourced from PowerHouse. I think it was their CHE in-house brand.

Yeah get one as a safety measure. You may neve need it, but that's fine....better than having a break and it catapulting your ride!
(FWIW, I drive the hell out of my alum driveshaft on the street and lots of track use, and it's been solid as a rock.)
