Default Rear gears and drivablitiy?

Is there any information about rear end gears and what ratio is good for normal street driving? From what I understand my V6 stang has 3.31 gears. Would 3.71 be too much for normal driving?

Try reading that to see if it helps a little bit. Yes, our stock gears are 3.31, and the most common aftermarket ratios for our models are 3.73 and 4.10. Both are perfectly acceptable for normal street driving, just depends how much pep you're looking for.

i have 4.10 gears in my 8.8 and yes deivability suffers a little bit but it isn't too bad you just have to get used to it. Plus gas mileage goes down a little bit
