Engine and Transmission Swap, please give input
LOL at the continued twin turbo myths around here.
If you go 5.4 watch out for the intake. On the 3v's the intake wont fit under the stock
hood. When you mention 4v's are you talking the GT500 version or the navigator version. If you go with a 3v, you can reuse the ecu from a GT. If you go with the GT500, you will need to find one from a GT500.
Lance (Buckman), did the GT500 4v swap, his info is here:

What supercharger are you thinking, centri or positive displacement?

I'll probably not go with the 5.4L and stick to the original engine that I posted
The supercharger is still down the road a lil bit lol, but if I was to make a decision now I'd most likely go with the positive displacement...but open to input lol

Going the route you posted you are much better off selling your current car and purchasing a gt if all you looking for is the 4.6l 3v motor. Might as well start with something that has the parts already and work from there.
Yes I plugged the Techco 5.0L in my post and I'm fan and I've seen it run and driven it in some one's car and liked it before and after I tried it, but even Brenden from brenspeed who's one of the most impartial tuners i've talked to agrees that it's the best engine you can buy for the Mustang out there. Nobody says that or anything like that about a hot rod cammed 4.6l for $7,000.
By going with that hot rod engine you are making the worst possible decision. That's just a GT take off engine with cams dynoed without a A/C . It's worth $2500 if you turn it around and sell it the next day. In fact it's not even a good engine. And because those cams aren't even designed for supercharging you're going to limit yourself to about 515 horsepower no matter what you do supercharged with stock internals at reasonable boost levels, 25 horsepower less than you could be getting with other cams designed to work correctly with boost and I'll get to forging/upgrading the engine in a second. Once you up the boost the cam timing issue gets worse.
Here's the most ridiculous part though, and my main point which I shouldn't be restating. IF you wanted to upgrade the engine you are about to buy to the same spec as the Techco 5.0l (and this applies to any similarly speced engine upgrade), it would cost you $11,200... $6,200 more than buying the engine in the first place, and that's actually trading in your stock parts.
See this link... subtract the cost of their supercharger porting, pulley swap and dyno time, tuner and a cheaper install and disaseembly: http://www.techcointl.com/product-p/...01-b001045.htm
Also I forgot to mention, the power curve of the Techco 5.0 is such that even at 450 hp it will take a GT500. A 4.6 can't do that at that level.
So more or less you're wasting $6,200, and once you reach the point of being supercharged on that hot rod engine, with $15,000 invested for the core components, you would have had the same speed and price with a forged engine but you'll get less resale value, less low end torque, less potential, and less exhaust note. And you'll do even worse if you don't get a supercharger off of ebay which I linked you to because it will cost $16,830 through retail to match Techco.
Due to the huge labor savings by buying the engine already forged and stroked you're essentially paying $800 for the 4.6l 3v engine at the end of your build. This has been said and is said thousands of times on this forum. Whether you go with Livernois Techco, Roush, or anyone else.
Hey but don't let me speak for it, let the free low end torque that you'll be missing out on once you hit 350 rwhp tell you what's what.

The overlay I made is little messy but:
Red = GT500
Green = Techco 5.0l N/A
Blue = 4.6 Saleen Supercharger 465hp version on a GT.
but tom if you do get the hot rod engine then I want some of what you smoke...
I'd flip if another engine had a 1/20th of those benefits.
