Default Install Shorty Headers

Just wanted to know how many of you guys have installed your shorty headers and how hard was it?

i did it on mine and it was not hard at all. the bracket the holds the coil will be a pain to put back on because the header flange will be in the way there is holes for the bolts but they will not be long enough reach i would get longer ones.

If you have to ask then I would rate it an intermediate level mod. It isn't to bad but you need a good selection of tools, a floor jack, jack stands and a helper. A mod veteran can do it by themselves. Hope this helps.

i did mine last friday by myself....took 3 hours on ride up ramps....definatly use deep wall socket set and "break" the nuts on the cat before you take the bolts off of the stock headers...i also would say a breaker bar is a must have for this install....just my 2 cents

Thanks for the replys. The stang is out at my car guy right now getting the headers and dual exhaust put on and I'm going out and rake leafs

Well Headers and duals are on and it runs and sounds great. System is JBA headers and exhaust.

same as my setup... i'm very happy with it. i did my install with the help of my bro. could have done it solo but he wanted to lend a hand so i certainly didnt say no
